# Product Settings | How to Differentiate New Version and Old Version Products?

### Overview
rezio has two product editing experiences: **New Version** and **Old Version**. Since **July 2025**, rezio released a new product creation process, so there are now **two types of product creation**. Knowing which version a product uses tells you which editing guide to follow and which settings are available. This FAQ covers the quickest ways to tell them apart.

# Check the Product List for the “New” label


The fastest way is to open the **Product** > **Product List** and look just below the product code (the short ID shown under the product name). A **New** label appears there for New Version products only.
* **New Version** — a **New** label is shown under the product code.
* **Old Version** — **no** label is shown under the product code.

# Which categories create a New Version product

When you create a product from scratch, the **Category** you choose decides the version. The following categories create a **New Version** product:
* **Day tour**
* **Multi-day tour**
* **Private tour**
* **Activity**

# Which categories create an Old Version product

The following categories create an **Old Version** product:
* **Ticket**
* **Ticket (No sessions)**

# What happens when you duplicate a product

If you use **Copy** to duplicate an **Old Version** product, the duplicated product will also be **Old Version** — regardless of its category. A duplicate always inherits the version of the product it was copied from.
 
# Notes
**Note:** The **New** label only appears on New Version products. If there is no label under the product code, it is an Old Version product.
**Note:** Category decides the version only when you create a product from scratch. Duplicating a product instead inherits the version of the original.
