Admin Settings | Pricing Setting
Overview
Choosing the right Purchasing Unit is the most important step to ensure your customers have an easy checkout experience. This setting tells the system exactly how you measure and sell your items, such as by headcount, or as a single flat price.
If you pick a unit that does not match your pricing rules, it can confuse your customers, mess up your inventory records, or cause incorrect totals at checkout. This guide will show you how to match your business model with the perfect unit so your pricing and tracking always stay accurate.

Old Version
If you are using our original interface or setting up older product types like Ticket or Ticket (No session), follow these steps to configure your pricing:

- Navigate to Product List (or click Add Product if creating a new one).
- Locate your item and click Add Pricing.
- Click the + Add button to input your pricing rules.
In the original interface, pricing rules are split into two categories based on how you want to calculate your rates:

Choosing By Person Pricing
- Under Expand Identity, select an identity type (identity types in the same rule cannot be repeated).
- Understanding the "Multi-people" Identity: Choose Multi-people if you want to offer flat package rates for specific group sizes (like a "Group of 2" or "Group of 3") instead of an individual rate while still tracking individual seat or ticket consumption.
- Understanding the "Group (Charge by Person)" Identity: This option is used when you want to offer a specific rate that dynamically multiplies by the number of people in the group, but only if the group size falls within a specific range. Unlike a flat package, the price you enter here is the amount charged per individual head.
- Input the Age Range, Height, and the Price for this identity.
- Click Add.
⚠️ Reminder: Participant cannot be used at the same time with Adult, Child, Toddler, Infant, Senior, Teenager, and other identities. You cannot create multiple rules using the same identity (e.g., you can only set one price for an Adult). You cannot add the Group (Charged by Person) identity more than once within the same pricing policy.
- The newly created identity will appear below the Add button.
- After entering several identities, you can click ↑ ↓ to sort your prioritized identities.
- Click on the bin icon to delete an identity.
- When you're finished creating all your desired identities, click Create.
Choosing By Item Pricing
- Set the pricing policy's Rule to By Item.
- Select the appropriate Unit for your product.
- Under Expand Item, input an item label and price.
- Click Add.
- The newly created item will appear below the Add button.
- After entering several items, click ↑ ↓ to sort them or click the bin icon to delete an item.
- When you're finished creating all your desired items, click Create.
Use Spec Settings
- If you need more item or identity options for your clients to choose from, check the Use Spec Settings box.
- Toggle the Item Spec Settings switch to create more item specs.
- Fill in the Spec Label and Item information as needed. Click + Add to confirm the item as a choice (e.g., Preferred Guide Language Spec with English, Chinese, and Japanese as choices).
- Click the blue Add button below the spec fields to finish setting up that particular item specification.
- Complete the previous steps in the same manner for Identity Spec Settings to create more identity options.
New Version
In the new interface, configuring your pricing policy has been simplified into an intuitive step-by-step questionnaire. The options you choose here automatically determine whether your product uses By Identity or By Item pricing structures.
The Pricing QuestionnaireGo to [Product Settings] > [Add New Package] to begin.

Question 1: "When consumers purchase your products, how is their 'purchase unit' presented?"
This question defines the base metric of your sale.
- Headcount-Based Unit: If you select an option like Identity, Person, Type of Guest, Guest, Participant, Group of N People, or Group (Charged by Person), the system prepares your item settings for By Identity pricing rules.
- Quantity or Time-Based Unit: If you select a unit like Piece, Day, Hour, or Session, the system prepares your item settings for By Item pricing rules.

Question 2: "When consumers purchase your products, do they need to choose combined item specifications?"
This question decides whether you need multi-layered pricing.
- If you select NO: You will configure a straightforward, single-tier pricing rule based on your purchase unit.
- If you select YES: The system will open up combined specification settings (such as pairing a "Standard Room" with a "Weekday vs. Weekend" pricing tier).
Configuring "By Identity" Pricing
If your product is guided by headcount rules, go to the Item Settings tab and select an option from the Identity Type dropdown menu:
1. Group of N People (Flat Package Pricing)
- Best for: Flat-rate packages for a fixed, exact group size (e.g., a "Family of 4" pass).
- How to configure: Select Group of N People and enter the exact headcount under Group Size (e.g.,
3people). - Customer View: Customers buy the group as a single bundle (e.g., adding "1 Group of 3" to their cart).

- Example on MySite: Customers will see the specific group tier layout (e.g., Group of 3). Clicking + once adds 1 Group(s) to the cart.

2. Group (Charged by Person) (Tiered Headcount Pricing)
- Best for: Individual pricing discounts that only apply if a certain number of people book together (e.g., $40/person but only if 2 to 5 people book).
- How to configure: Select Group (Charged by Person) and define your boundaries by entering a Minimum Group Size and a Maximum Group Size (e.g., Min
2~ Max5). - Customer View: Customers select their individual headcount. The system automatically applies this rate as long as their total party size falls within your limits.

- Example on MySite: Customers will see the option listed alongside the required range (e.g., Group (Charged by Person) (Group (Per Person) 2~5 People)). The customer uses the stepper to select the exact number of People attending.

Configuring "By Item" Pricing
If you chose a quantity or time-based unit (like Piece, Hour, or Session), the dashboard will prompt you to set up your flat item parameters.
- Define your base unit and pricing under Item Settings.
- If you need to combine rules (such as matching a "Standard Room" with "Weekday" vs. "Weekend" pricing), toggle Yes on the modular project specifications to map out your price matrix.
