Product Settings | How to Archive a Product (New Version)

Overview

Archiving removes a product from your active Product List and stops it from being sold, while keeping its data so you can restore it later. A product can only be archived when its status is Pause — that is, when all of its packages are paused. This guide shows you how to pause every package and then archive the product.

Note: A product that has been created and published, or that has a sales calendar and pricing bound to it, cannot be deleted — it can only be archived.

Step 1 — Check your package statuses

Go to Product > Product List and open the product you want to archive. On the Package Settings tab, review the Package status of each package. To archive the product, every package must be set to Pause.

Step 2 — Pause every package

Only a package that is On sale can be suspended.

  • If a package is in Editing status, click ready first to set it On sale.

  • Open each On sale package, click sales suspended in the top-right corner, then click Confirm.

Repeat until every package shows Pause. Once all packages are paused, the product status also becomes Pause.

Step 3 — Archive the product

Return to Product > Product List. With every package paused, the product now shows Pause status.

  1. Click Batch Edit, then select Archive.

  1. Tick the checkbox next to the product you want to archive (or click Select All), then click Archive in the bottom-right corner.

Step 4 — Confirm

In the Tips - Confirm archiving the product(s) below window, review the product list, then click OK. The product is now archived.

Note: To restore an archived product later, go to Product List > Batch Edit > Unarchive.
