Product > Product List
Merchants looking to create group rates or package deals can use Multi-People or Group pricing structures to define product rates.
To get started, navigate to Product > Product List, locate your desired item, click Edit Product, and select the Package Settings tab.
What is "Multi-People"?
"Multi-People" is an identity type under option settings in rezio. Its core characteristics are outlined below:
Item | Rule & Description |
|---|---|
Sales Unit | Sold by "Group" (e.g., 1 Group = 3 persons) |
Selling Price | Fixed total price for the set; does not fluctuate based on individual headcount |
Inventory Deduction | Deducted based on actual group size (1 Set of 3 persons = deducts 3 inventory slots) |
Traveler Info | Collected based on group size (1 Set of 3 persons = requires details for 3 participants) |
Recommended Use Cases & Comparison
This feature is ideal for promotional campaigns tied to a fixed headcount:
- Buy 2 Get 1 Free (3-Person Group): Displays a single fixed set price, consumes 3 slots, and collects data for 3 participants.
- Pair Discount Rate: A fixed package price for 2 people traveling together.
- Family Package: A fixed bundle price for a group of 4.
Why not use regular Identity Types (Adult / Child)?
Regular identity types calculate total price as Unit Price × Headcount, allowing consumers to adjust headcount freely. Using regular identity types for promotions like "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" introduces two key issues:
- You cannot ensure the customer selects the required minimum headcount (e.g., 3 people).
- Discounted average unit pricing dilutes the visual marketing appeal of the headline offer.
Comparison: Multi-People (Group of N. People) vs. Group (Charged by Person)
Feature | Multi-People (Group of N. Person) | Group (Charged by Person) |
|---|---|---|
Sales Unit | Group | Person |
Headcount | Fixed (strictly set by group size) | Variable within a defined range (e.g., 3–5 people) |
Price Model | One fixed price per set | Unit price per person × headcount |
Step-by-Step Setup Guide
Step 1: Go to Package Setting
Navigating within the Itinerary Editing page, switch to the "Package Settings" tab. In the top right corner of the option list, click "Add New Package".

Step 2: Questionnaire Step 5 — Purchasing Unit Presentation

When prompted with "How should purchasing units be displayed when consumers buy your product?", select: "Purchasing units based mainly on Identity Types"
Step 3: Questionnaire Step 6 — Composite Item Specifications

When prompted with "Do consumers need to select composite item specifications when buying your product?", select:"No, composite item specifications are not needed"
This allows consumers to select the identity option directly on the storefront without needing to choose higher-level options (e.g., "Guided Tour" or "Meal Ticket") first.
Step 4: Confirm Questionnaire & Name Option

Review the wizard summary page. Ensure the following parameters are correctly set:
- Purchasing Unit: Based mainly on Identity Types
- Composite Item Specifications: No
Enter your desired Option Name and click "Add Option" to proceed to detailed parameters.
Step 5: At Item Settings select [Multi-People]
Go to Step 2, [Item Settings] under Plan Detailed Settings. In the [Identity Type] drop-down menu, select [Multi-People]

Step 6: Item Settings & Group (Charged by Person)
After making your selection, click "Add". A "Multi-People" item card will appear on the screen. Enter the number of people for this group in the "Group (Charged by Person)" field

Step 7: Complete the Remaining Settings
Follow the remaining tabs in order to launch your plan:
- Sales Calendar — Set the available sales period for this plan.
- Session / Time Slot Settings — Set departure times or available sessions.
- Pricing Settings — Enter the fixed price per group (not the price per person).
- Inventory Settings — Set the total stock/availability limit.

MySite Display
Purchased by "Group/Set"
On the booking website's plan selection page, multi-person items are selected by consumers using "Group/Set" as the unit.
he example image above displays two types of items side by side, making the difference clear:
- 3-Person Travel – $92: Unit is Group (Multi-person offer).
- Group (Charged by Person) – $122 (Limit 5–10 people per group): Unit is Person.
Fill in Passenger Info Based on Group Size
During checkout, the system automatically expands the passenger info fields according to the set group size. For example, if a customer purchases 1 group of "2-Person Travel," fields for "Passenger 1" and "Passenger 2" will appear.
At the same time, available inventory will be deducted based on the group size. Taking "3-Person Travel" as an example, selling 1 group will deduct 3 units from inventory.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Q1: Purchasing 1 group of "Group of 3-Person" deducts how many inventory slots?
A: It deducts 3 slots. Inventory is calculated by the actual number of participants, not by the number of groups.
- Q2: How many traveler profiles need to be filled out?
A: 3 profiles (equal to the group size). Personal information for all participants must be fully filled out.
- Q3: Should the price be entered per group or per person?
A: Enter the fixed price for one group. This is the main difference between "Multi-person Travel" and standard ticket types.
- Q4: Can I change the group size after creating the plan?
A: "Group Size" can be adjusted in the item settings. However, questionnaire settings (Purchasing Unit and Combined Item Specifications) cannot be modified once saved. If you made a mistake in the questionnaire, you must delete the plan and recreate it.
- Q5: Can I sell "Group of 3-Person" alongside regular adult tickets at the same time?
A: Yes. You can either add multiple ticket types under Item Settings in the same plan, or create a separate, standalone plan based on your operational needs.
- Q6: Can consumers purchase for only 2 people instead?
A: No. Multi-person offers are non-divisible sales units; purchasing 1 group applies to the exact configured number of people. If you need flexible party sizes, please use "Group (Charged by Person)" and set a participant range instead.
